Hi, 

Does anyone know how the medical history link is sent in an email - so not by dropping down the link to send but in the email recalls the patient receives. 
I am trying to set this up and can see some patients receive it and others do not. 

I have tried to create a recall but do not feel it is classed as a recall.

Somewhere in the background it is set up but I don’t know where…

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not entirely confident I have understood your question correctly. Are you trying to set it up so patients automatically get sent their forms to complete prior to their appointment? I believe this is referred to as ‘Task reminders’ if this is not activated then you will need to switch these on. If i am not mistaken, it is via the Portal settings> Patient notifications> Notification types> Task Reminders > Manage.

If the patient does not have any forms to complete this will automatically be picked up and it will not send them this task reminder out. If you have this in place, there’s no real need to add the link to your emails however, I am pretty sure Dentally have some templates pre-made for this. You might just need to activate this template.
