Small feature that could use a very easy update.
I have a large volume of template notes to slot into the discussion portion of my exam notes for different situations but every time I insert a new template note it automatically gets placed at the top of the exam note rather than where my cursor is (ie where I want it inserted).
Barring making shortcuts for all of my template notes this means a lot of copying and pasting to get the inserted note where I want it on the page.

At the moment, the shortcut feature is the only way to insert a note template exactly where your cursor is. So whenever you create a new template, be sure to give it a shortcut you’ll remember and use.
I’ll log this as a UI-enhancement request with the product team and will keep you posted on any updates. 😊
A couple of tips we’ve picked up from practices that use lots of templates:

Group shortcuts logically. For example, prefix all history snippets with hx_ (hx_bp, hx_diabetes) and exam findings with ex_ (ex_tmj, ex_dentition). Typing the prefix filters the drop-down to just the relevant options.

Break up long templates. If a single template contains several sections you don’t always need, split it into smaller snippets so you only expand the lines that matter.
