Lab Work Log features

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on our new lab work feature. We’ve had some great feedback recently that echoes your suggestions about needing more details like lab names, due dates, and specific descriptions. I’ll make sure to log your suggestion and pass it along to the team to keep you updated.

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us. What you’ve described makes complete sense, and we really appreciate you highlighting how the feature is landing in practice.

Our aim with this functionality was to help ensure patients don’t attend appointments without their lab work being received. The idea was that the reception team could review incoming lab work and mark it against upcoming appointments, helping them decide if anything needs to be rescheduled.

That said, we absolutely hear what you’re saying about the current workflow and how you’re managing it. Long term, our goal is to help teams move away from spreadsheets and custom waiting lists by building a more streamlined, comprehensive approach that captures everything you’ve mentioned.

While we can’t commit to timelines just yet—since we’re focused on a few other priorities at the moment—your feedback is really valuable and will help shape how we think about future improvements.

We were chatting this morning about how to use Dentally Lab Work more efficiently. 

We currently run Lab Work along side a custom wait list; but it is clunky and could be streamlined more effectively. 

Any updates on improvements would be gratefully received.
