Hey @Sarah Salisbury
The trick here is to tell Dentally that the existing medical history is no longer valid. As soon as you do that, Concierge treats it as “due” and the iPad shows the form straight away. Here are some quick instructions:
-
On your computer/laptop
-
Open the patient record and go to the Medical tab.
-
Click the most-recent medical-history entry.
-
If the form was taken less than 24 hours ago, click Delete.
If it’s older, choose Mark as → Invalid, add a short note like “new medication” and save.
Deleting or invalidating instantly raises the red Medical history required banner and creates an “outstanding action” for that patient.
-
On the iPad (Concierge)
-
Back out to the appointment list or tap refresh, then open the patient again.
-
You’ll now see a Medical History card even though the last form was under six months old. Hand the iPad over and let the patient complete the questionnaire themselves.
After they submit, the fresh form appears in the Medical tab, the banner disappears, and the six-month timer restarts from today.
I understand being able to push a Medical History to Concierge with a single button would be much smoother, especially for patients who struggle with email links. I’ll pass your feedback to our Product team and I’ll let you know in case there’s any updates
Give the steps a try and let me know if it works!
